Relaxation
Relaxation can be the key to movement, responding, sleep and productivity.
Movement will be best when;
- We are without tightness or tension
- We are without pain
Responding will be balanced when;
- We are present and aware of our body (We are not thinking about the past or the future)
- We accept difficult experience as our own (We accept responsibility for our own actions and feelings)
- We are not triggered by an event as though it is like a past event
- We don’t avoid important events
Sleep will occur when we are tired and;
- We let go of the past and the future and come into the present.
- We focus less on the world around us (through our 5 senses)
- We focus more on present internal sensation
Productivity will increase when;
- We are fully rested
- We are not distracted by unresolved issues
- We are following our energy and pursuing our interests
I am able to provide a guided relaxation for clients where I guide the participant through the various stages of relaxation. The client can then develop this practice in their own time. A relaxation practice will allow clients to train the body to achieve balanced responding, good sleep and productivity. This practice can also be called a meditation.
Therapeutic Meditation
Therapeutic meditation is a process where I assist the participant to relax then make suggestions for them to reflect on new ideas from our session.
Clinical Hypnotherapy
Clinical hypnotherapy is a process where I assist the participant to relax then make suggestions for them to experience the new ideas from our session and integrate those ideas into their behavioural possibilities (unconscious) so that it can be acted upon in the future and not forgotten.
Playback
I can record your guided relaxation / therapeutic meditation / clinical hypnotherapy session so that you are able to playback the session and use it in your own time as a part of your daily practice.
